schir initiates and realizes projects between creative communities from German-speaking countries and Israel. Bringing together artists, exhibition institutions and other partners, schir provides spaces for exchange and networking.

In its projects, schir explores new ways of cooperation and presentation in fine arts. Through encounters with other forms of cultural expression, schir raises questions regarding the development of contemporary art and processes of cultural production. The projects examine multifaceted realities based on the understanding that art reacts to societal developments as well as provides impulses for social discourses.
