Dana Ariel studied at the renowned Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. During her studies, she has been awarded the Prize for Exellence, initiated by the Department of photography at Bezalel, and a stipend from Wolf Foundation. Among other topics, Dana Ariel deals with representations of German culture in Israel. She is living in Berlin since 2009, where she investigates geographic and social border zones in urban spaces as well as in the countryside.
